How does our disc bound system work?
Each page is punched with a unique hole punch, which fits into the disc sets. 

What is needed for a notebook
Everyone requires different approaches to their notebooks and planners, which is why we love the freedom and flexibility our system offers. 

For students we suggest the following:
- a set of planner covers 
- a set of discs in your selected size and colour
- a set of dividers (optional)
- a planning insert for productivity (optional)
- then choose which inserts you would like to use in your notebook. The lecture notes, and assignment planner inserts are great for students. 
- then add a dashboard in if you'd like to decorate the front cover, or space behind the dividers. Our covers are transparent and semitransparent. Therefore, these allow you to personalise your notebook and planner freely and easily. 

We suggest selecting one of our starter packs for your first purchase to ensure you select all the items to make a complete notebook. 


Are the notebooks and planners only for students?
No, definitely not! Our inserts can be used by non-students and are used by other professionals, parents and business owners. We currently have the undated daily inserts available; these are great for regular day to day planning. They feature a to-do list, priority list, schedule and come undated.

At the moment we have a lot of student focused inserts however we have a new range of non-student inserts arriving in the next week. Please email us on info@lexstationery.com if you require a custom order in the meantime.

What is the difference between the ring sizes
We have 4 different sizes for the ring. The following guide will assist guide you in your purchase:

Guidelines for page quantity and ring size:
0.75 inch - up to 80 pages
1.1 inch - up to 150 pages
1.25 inch - up to 200 pages
1.5 inch - up to 250 pages

These numbers may differ depending on the thickness of the pages use. Our notebook and planner insert pages use a minimum of 100 gsm paper thickness, therefore you may need to size up when in doubt, especially when adding dividers as they are quite thick.

11 discs are required for the A4 size option 
8 discs are required for the A5 size option

The dimensions for our notebook paper inserts are
A4 - 210 x 297 mm
A5 - 148 x 210 mm

Processing times
Before ordering please be advised that our current processing time is 1-7 days. This time will fluctuate depending on the volume of orders we are presently receiving. We advise contacting us at info@lexstationery.com prior to your purchase to confirm current processing time in the event you require your order before a certain date. 

An item is sold out, when will you restock it?
We are so sorry that the item you are after is not in stock. Unfortunately this happens however we are working hard to bring it back. We recommend you join our waitlist to be notified when a product is back in stock. You can do this by clicking the email when available button. We will then email you once it is back in stock. Alternatively, feel free to email and and we are happy to provide you a timeframe for the product you are looking for - info@lexstationery.com

Cancellations & Refunds
We do not accept returns, or exchanges for a change of mind. However, in the circumstances your item is faulty, or you believe we have made an error with your order please contact us at info@lexstationery.com

(Exchanges and refunds must first receive an authorisation before shipping your order back to us. Shipping costs are not able to be refunded. If approved for a refund, any orders that received free shipping will receive a refund less the shipping fees.

Please be advised in order to process a refund for the reasons above we require the order to be returned within 5 days of delivery. There is a 10% restocking fee applied to all refunds. 

Please note a significant number of our products are custom handmade items, and not mass produced. As a result there may be slight variations present. These variations do not affect the intended use of the product. 

Covid-19 Delays
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic please be aware there may be unexpected delays with your order. Please ensure this is considered before confirming your purchase, you can check the current Australia Post delays here.

International Orders 
Our office is based in Brisbane, Queensland Australia - However we offer international shipping. However presently there is some limitations on international postage, please be sure to check the list of suspended postage services for your country here.

Please be aware that customs fees and VAT amounts will vary. The amount will be dependant on each customers individual location. Customers may be subjected to additional customs fees / VAT amounts, Lex Stationery is not responsible for this charge. We recommend that you check your countries fees and taxes prior to completing your purchase.
